The Impact of LandSearch

LandSearch is a Huntsville-based startup that wants to be your destination for buying, selling, leasing and financing land — anywhere in the country. Unlike other land listing services, LandSearch aims to help users navigate the process from start to finish.
 
“Our goal is to bring the entire land buying process under one roof, from purchase and financing through to improvement,” says Managing Director Michael Liegeber. “Our platform caters equally to residential, commercial, agricultural, and recreational land, which are all unique and need to be represented differently than traditional home listings.”
 
The idea for LandSearch came from Michael’s previous work with a digital marketing agency he co-founded. That agency represented a leading land broker, giving Michael a look into the industry. He found room for improvement.
 
“From the success of helping them grow and seeing first-hand the state of the industry, we felt land buyers deserved a better option than the current monopoly,” he says.
