Morph Your Huntsville Experience

At its core, Morph is all about helping people break the ice. Moving to a new town can be tough, and this Huntsville-based startup aims to help new residents get plugged into their adopted town.

Ideally, that means avoiding some of the growing pains founder Dustin Poisson encountered in his own discovery process after moving to Huntsville from Michigan three years ago.

“I went out and did some things on my own, forced myself to go to meetups, joined a kickball team, and did embarrassing things like take dance lessons not realizing it was dance lessons with a bunch of 10-year-olds,” he says.

After learning from his experience, Dustin created Morph to fill in that gap for other new residents. With a full range of Resident and Business Services, Morph can offer a tailored experience for nearly any life situation.

To mark the beginning of Morph’s services to the Huntsville community, the startup is organizing two unique activities for New Year’s Eve at Huntsville Times Square. Any ticket purchased with Morph will also include a discount at SpringHill Suites by Marriott Huntsville Downtown. 

And it’s all just a taste of what Morph has in store for Huntsville—which Dustin calls “an easy sell” to new residents.

“Huntsville right now is growing like crazy. You have all these jobs coming up in the next couple years, but people hear Alabama and they’re like, ‘I don’t want to move down to Alabama. What is there in Alabama?’” Dustin says. “But you give me a day and you let me show them around… and it’s an easy sell.”
