About The Event:

The HudsonAlpha Tech Challenge is a 32-hour event for teams to learn about life sciences, solve problems, and develop technology concepts. Winners from the event will receive cash and other prizes, and everyone who participates will have a weekend full of fun, food and technology.

Why Participate in a Hackathon?

Here's what could happen: People, some who know one another and some who have never met before, start working together and figuring out what they are really good at. Once this happens the barrier of entry for other opportunities start to lower. These teams often go on to start startups, work on community projects and form lasting friendships.

Some people move on in their career to pursue something they never knew they were passionate about before... and everyone learns in the process! Some people win at the end of the event but everyone leaves a better professional or student.
